Associate Lawyer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare legal documents, including court submissions and commercial documents;
• Handle multiple cases simultaneously. Identify relevant legal precedents and associated case law for use in legal arguments.
• Conduct research using legislations, case laws, and other legal texts as sources to determining the best plan of action for the client(s) depending on their needs and budget;
• Consult with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case. Provide consultations, opinions, and advices based on legal authorities;
• Represent clients and appears before courts within and outside Metro Manila;
• Interact with government offices, administrative, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies;
• Maintain a regular schedule of hearings, court appearance, and conferences based on case requirements;
• Inform the managing partner about salient developments in each case;
• Remain abreast of changes to legislation;
• Such other tasks as the Firm may be deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Admitted to the Bar
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
• High level of client service skills with above average oral and written communication skills.
Liaison Staff
The Driver | Liaison Staff provides essential logistical and administrative support to the Firm. This role is responsible for the safe transportation of personnel and the efficient delivery of documents, utilizing both four-wheel vehicles and motorcycles as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide safe and reliable transportation for personnel and clients using four-wheel vehicles.
2. Utilize motorcycles or four-wheel vehicles to reach various destinations for the delivery of messages and sensitive documents.
3. Facilitate the filing, submission, and collection of documents from courts, government agencies, and other institutions.
5. Ensure all assigned vehicles both manual and automatic are kept in good working condition, clean, and properly maintained.
6. Travel and render overtime during regular work days, rest days, and holidays when the need arises.
7. Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and vehicle-related expenses
8. Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and Firm policies.
9. Such other tasks as the Firm may be deemed necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability :
1. Proficient in operating both manual and automatic motorcycles and four-wheel vehicles.
2. Strong knowledge of local roads and navigation apps to ensure efficient routing for deliveries..
3. Committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining a professional schedule, including potential holiday or weekend shifts.
4. Ability to manage multiple delivery points and prioritize tasks effectively
Education & Experience :
● At least three (3) years of experience in driving four-wheel vehicles.
● Proven experience in driving both manual and automatic motorcycles and vehicles.
● Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with License Restrictions of A, A1, B, B1, and B2.
● At least a High School Graduate or has attained college-level education.
