We are seeking a detail-oriented, Bar-admitted lawyer to join our team and work closely with our Executive leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, the capacity to multitask effectively under pressure, and refined negotiation and managerial skills. You must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with a professional approach to public relations and a commitment to providing high-level service to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Prepare legal documents, including court submissions and commercial documents;
2. Handle multiple cases simultaneously. Identify relevant legal precedents and associated case law for use in legal arguments.
3. Conduct research using legislations, case laws, and other legal texts as sources to determining the best plan of action for the client(s) depending on their needs and budget;
4. Consult with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case. Provide consultations, opinions, and advices based on legal authorities;
5. Represent clients and appears before courts within and outside Metro Manila;
6. Interact with government offices, administrative, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies;
7. Maintain a regular schedule of hearings, court appearance, and conferences based on case requirements;
8. Inform the managing partner about salient developments in each case;
9. Remain abreast of changes to legislation;
10. Such other tasks as the Firm may be deemed necessary.

Education & Experience :

• Admitted to the Philippine Bar
• Preferably with 1- 3 years work experience in Law/Legal Services or equivalent

A legal researcher is a professional who assists lawyers by investigating relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to support ongoing cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate the facts of a case, and conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles;
• Get affidavits and other formal statements that may be used as evidence in court;
• Help lawyers during trials by organizing evidence, handling exhibits, scheduling witnesses, ensuring that witnesses are ready when needed, taking courtroom notes, or reviewing trial transcripts;
• File exhibits, briefs, appeals and other legal documents with the court or opposing counsel;
• Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring and updating calendar, meeting deadlines, documenting actions, confirming case status with attorneys;
• Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case, scheduling depositions, generating status reports, and keeps clients informed by maintaining contact, communicating case progress;
• Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences, preparing pleadings, monitoring and obtaining discovery responses, organizing materials for team case review;
• Call clients, witnesses, lawyers, and outside vendors to schedule interviews, meetings, and depositions;
• Coordinate the logistics of attending the trial, transporting exhibits and documents to the courtroom;
• Maintains case costs by verifying outstanding balances with attorney, clients, and providers.

Education & Experience :
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or at least one year of experience in similar position or related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage intake, handling, storage, categorization, and version control of both digital and paper files.
• Develop document control processes, ensure standards are met, and monitor regulatory activity for legal compliance.
• Retrieve files for staff, coordinate with project teams, and record/distribute meeting minutes.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure secure backup and storage of sensitive documents.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree holder (or an Associate degree/higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar field).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, with proven experience handling various file types.

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of office software.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and high attention to detail.
